TRCS at Monticello

TRCS’s woes continue tonight at Monticello. Poor shooting, which has plaqued the team since late in the first game with Mt. Solo, continued tonight with missed layups, running jumpers and 3 point attempts. Monticello jumped out of the gate quick and led at the end of the 1st quarter 14-6. TRCS hung with Monticello during the second quarter finishing the quarter down 7 at 22-15. During the 3rd quarter, TRCS turnovers played a key role in Monticello’s outscoring TRCS 17-6 with the quarter ending 39-21. The 4th quarter brought in the bench of both teams and the game finished 49-31. This loss puts TRCS in last place with a record of 0-5 in league play.
